Life update
We had a nice week off with George last week after he finished his grueling 60+hrs./7day per week 2 month proposal schedule. He and the boys finished our water-softener drainage system, and we went for a couple of walks, ran errands, and mostly relaxed.
Jordan is taking his last college final today for his Freshman year! He thinks he did well.
Jared and Ben are finished with their community college calculus class. Jared got the outstanding student award for calculus (out of 12 students:) and Ben got second! They still have their senior year of homeschool to finish hopefully by the end of this month. They also have accepted their scholarships to UD and UTA respectively. Ben has some upcoming math placement testing and orientation. Jared just has paperwork until his orientation in September.
Jeremy and Rachel are finishing 8th grade and will be in high-school next year!
Rebecca is finishing 2nd grade.
Everyone is looking forward to their friends, James, John and Anna coming over to screen Prince Caspian weekend after next. Wish our Pharr friends could make it for that too!

Hooray and congratulations to one and all! Ana finished her final final yesterday, and did a little post on her blog this AM. So far, all of her posted grades are A's - she's hoping they will stay that way! Cristina has 2 more to go, heading off as I type. She did a cute little blog yesterday as well. They are all planning an outing to Prince Caspian as well - Joanna, Abby, Holly and our 3 girls. So, they will be with them all in spririt at least! They can't wait for their summer visit with ya'll and are already planning a nice stack of movies to bring and share!!!!
We'll have to compare notes on Prince Caspian - it's been forever since I read the book.
I'm hesitantly hoping that 4 of the kids, minus the oldest, who has to take summer college :( and youngest, will all be able to join the girls at camp this summer. Either way it will be nice for us all to get together again for the visits accompanying the Assembly.
I hardly know what to say in general...I don't think I have completely recovered from this semester yet. Cristina, to help her study for her finals, had 2 cups of coffee today. Talk about scary.
It appears that everyone has had a very busy, yet fruitful school year! May all of our hard work be to God's glory!
I can't wait to see you all (at least mini-term will help the time pass...) and it will be fantastic to have more Rovny's at camp...hmm...more slaves...more basses for choir (and they thought they could just have fun!) although we will greatly miss those not present...
Yes, congrats to all!!
We wish we could be there, too! Although, we will be going with the chaps + chums to see Prince Caspian...
I'm glad you enjoyed our posts!
Ugg... the coffee is still at work. I hope I can sleep tonight. Tomorrow is my last final - starting 12:45 - which is for English.
Can't wait to see everyone up there!!
Has Cristina settled down yet?
Yes, I've [mostly] recovered from yesterdays coffee. Back to earth now, I guess. But now that I'm completely done with finals, I am just tired.
Yes, we got there a bit late when we all went to see Cars while we were visiting a couple of summers ago... I think we all had to sit in the front row. The place was crowded!!
