The last minute rush is on
This is our last week to blow out, wax, dye, wax and dye some more, and then remove the wax from our eggs before the Sunday deadline. Matushka will then be varnishing the eggs for the Spring Pysanky Sale the next weekend, March 7th and 8th. I'm no where near my set goal for myself or the kids, but I hope we'll have made 18 to two dozen per person. That would be about 120 eggs, way more than last year anyway. I'll get pictures of them all up hopefully after they're varnished when they'll look much better.

It sounds like alot of work, but what a great way to be creative.

but I'm not sure if they're handmade or not. We have a few of their books that instruct how to make them yourself.
